4. NÄITUS/EXHIBITION - TALLINN, RARA
RaRa (Eesti Rahvusraamatukogu) Tallinnas oli täiesti plaaniväline näitus projekti raames ning seda lihtsal põhjusel. Kuna algselt projekti kirjutades/ettevalmistades puudus tagasiside, milline on vaataja tagasiside temaatikale ning soovimata tahtmatult üle forsseerida üksilduse tunnet jõulukuul, sai detsembrikuuse jäetud näitusele paus. Juhtus aga nii, et Rahvusraamatukogu võttis ise ühendust, et projekt ka nende majja tuua ning just sel perioodil, mil rännakud pausile olid planeeritud. Tuginedes positiivsele peegeldusele alates rännaku algusest, sai ettevõetud ka lisanäitus ning operatiivselt kujundada pop-up variant, mis võimaldas olla nähtav nii raamatukogu fuajees viibijatele, kui ka läbi suurte akende kõigile möödujatele tänaval. Taas üks põnev väljakutse rännaku ajal – mahutada galerii jagu pilte märkimisväärselt väiksemale pinnale. Lisaks arvestades ka tõmbetuulega, mis tähendas viimasel hetkel ehituspoe külastust, et pop-up näitus jätkusuutlikult terve kuu seinal püsiks. Väga inspireeriv ning õpetlik protsesess!
The Estonian National Library in Tallinn was a completely unplanned exhibition within the project, and for a simple reason. As there was no feedback when initially writing/preparing the project, what the viewer's feedback would be on the topic. Also not wanting to unintentionally force the feeling of loneliness in the Christmas period, the exhibition was put on hold for December. However, it so happened that the National Library contacted itself to bring the project to their institution, and just in the period when the trips were planned for a break. Based on the positive reflections from the beginning of the journey, an additional exhibition was also undertaken and a pop-up version was operationally designed, which made it possible to be visible both to those in the library lobby and to all passers-by on the street through the large windows. Another exciting challenge during the journey - to fit the pictures of the gallery on a significantly smaller surface. In addition, taking into account the draft, which meant a last-minute visit to the hardware store, so that the pop-up exhibition could sustainably stay on the wall for the whole month. It was very inspiring and creative process!
